7. Cardamom
Cardamom is made from ground, dried seeds of the cardamom tree. It’s a common ingredient in Scandinavian and South Asian baking. Its benefits are similar with cinnamon, despite its mint-like flavor. It is rich in antioxidants, and it can aid digestion. It has a strong mint flavor, so it is perfect for those who enjoy peppermint lattes around the holidays. Bonus: Say goodbye to coffee breath!
8. Raw honey
We all know Kourtney Kourtney loves the natural sweetener. After learning more about it, I can understand why. It is rich in vitamins and minerals. Bee products are high in antioxidants, and contain a range of nutrients. Raw honey can help with seasonal allergies. This is my personal favorite benefit as someone who has allergies all year round.
9. Vanilla extract
Vanilla syrup is not the best way to add vanilla flavor to coffee. Natural vanilla extract (not imitations made with synthetic ingredients, but the real thing) is rich in powerful anti-oxidants that may have anti-inflammatory properties. Vanilla extract is a great way to add flavor to coffee and also to get some minerals in your diet.
