Start Fasting Gradually
Some individuals may experience significant side effects when they begin their fasting regime too soon and all at once. It can also lead to individuals not maintaining their new regime, especially with the more difficult intermittent fasting schedules. Another important tip for safely and effectively fasting is to begin gradually. Some people may not be ready to fast for 16 hours straight and eat for 8 hours. Some people find it easier for them to begin with a smaller fasting window, and gradually increase to the full 16 hours.
A good tip would be to start by doing intermittent fasting two to three days per week, and then gradually increase the number of days toevery day. Transitioning to intermittent fasting may take several days or weeks depending on what schedule you want.
