Practice makes perfect
It is not necessary to be born an optimist in order to have a positive attitude. They don’t have a magical joy juice and they aren’t rosy-cheeked romantics. Optimists have learned to believe in themselves and take positive action to deal with stress and disappointments at work. We must practice to understand that we can choose the way we interpret career ups and downs. It is important to widen our mental scope by replacing the “zoom” lens with a “wide angle lens”. This will allow us to see the bigger picture, including the solution and not just the problem. We can also consider the upside to a negative situation, as well as the opportunity and potential in the difficulties and limitations of career.
