1. Keep your alarm out of reach
You may struggle in the morning to get up. One tip I found to be extremely useful is to place your alarm or phone across the room and away from your comfy cozy bed. Place your phone or alarm across the room from your cozy bed. So, when your alarm goes off each morning, you will be able to get out of bed. It will be impossible to stay in bed and turn off the alarm. You will not be able to hit the snooze option if you cannot reach your alarm.
2. Prepare the Night Before
You can start your day feeling more organised by getting everything ready the night prior. Even simple tasks like choosing what to wear the next day and laying your clothes out can make a big difference.
This is a good habit to instill in your children. In the morning, it’s not fun to search for misplaced sports uniforms or bags. It’s not a good way to start your day. Everyone will feel frazzled when they leave the house.
Packing lunches for the morning can also make it easier. It can be tempting, but I don’t recommend waiting until morning. If you make your lunches the night before, this will save precious time in the morning.
