4.adhesion of the capsule:
This condition is characterised by painful inflammation of the capsule, a strong, fibrous band of tissue surrounding the shoulder joint. Shoulder stiffness is brought on by adhesive capsulitis. It is caused by persistent or chronic inflammation in the shoulder, particularly after surgery or another procedure. The shoulder may stiffen and become excruciating, particularly when moving the arm.
If you remove the tissue to examine it, you will discover an accumulation of scar tissue on the shoulder joint. This scar tissue develops gradually over time, reducing the elasticity of the joint capsule as it continues to grow and stiffening the joint. Therefore, this condition is also known as frozen shoulder, and it primarily affects elder individuals with a history of shoulder trauma or surgical intervention.
