The ship was crowded with workers, but a few selected ones were allowed to board The Patriot via a submersible that had been dropped by The Mariner.
Kelsey was feeling queasy but she suppressed it by telling herself she was like the man on the Moon, stepping into new depths in the name of academics and human progress.
