Jack Madrone sat on a chair and faced the camera. He knew that his eyes were beginning to turn red, and that whatever was inside the submarine had saved him at last.
He told the camera above him, “I’m Jackson Emilio Madrone. I am the last survivor ofThe Patriot. Please tell my family that I love them if you find it. There’s something on this ship.
“Something hungry.”
