35. Dealer’s Choice
John offered Kelsey a trio of cassettes and said “Dealer’s Choice”. She chose the tape dated 1/19/1993 – exactly one month prior to the disappearance of the submarine. The data had been meticulously maintained by whoever was on board. If the other tapes hadn’t been smashed they would have likely had dates as well.
She put the tape 1/19/1993 into the VCR. The team watched.
The rustling started again behind them, but was masked by staticky video sound.
