32. Rustling
Everyone was frozen.
The four men looked in the direction of the corner. The sound of rustling increased, then suddenly stopped as if the source knew that it was caught.
You don’t like to hear strange, eerie noises in many places. The woods, your home bed, or someone walking behind you at night are all examples. This noise, from an allegedly abandoned sub, elicited a new and paralyzing form of fear. The rustling noise sounded as if it was coming from something living.
