18. Dark in Here
John asked, “Isn’t it dark in here?”
Everyone laughed, and the tension began to ease. Kelsey said “I don’t believe it will be much longer.”
They were down there for about an hour. The submersible was now surrounded by a void and a lonely environment. Kelsey felt sympathy towards the men who were at the bottom. They must have been so lonely when they died.
