It was finally time.
Kelsey, her crew and everyone else retreated back to their stations of battle. The tiny submersible was almost claustrophobic and felt thin in the cold, oppressive darkness of the ocean.
Kelsey felt smaller than she had ever been in her entire life. She could see that her crew was also feeling overwhelmed.
