16. Use bar soap to wash the blood stain off.
Use only cold water. Hot water will set stains.

It conveys the idea that you may be sorry in certain circumstances, but not at present. This also takes away most of the sincerity. Leave out the “if” and identify the situation you are sorry about. “If you don’t have the details, you’re probably not sorry.”
19. Basic knife skills will pay off over time.
The amount of time that you will save by learning to chop vegetables is far greater than the time required to learn. You can also use that extra time to clean the kitchen or do other tasks, which will make everything less stressful.
20. You shouldn’t listen to someone who you wouldn’t trust with advice.
