It is impossible to have too many useful (and simple) life hacks. You can never have too many simple (but useful!) life hacks and habits.
Particularly now, when we are all searching for ways to make life easier, less stressful or better.
A popular Reddit thread recently highlighted the best ones you can use every day. Here are a few:
1. Natural peanut butter can be stored upside down to prevent separation.
This will help the oil rise to the surface and make mixing much easier!
2. Say it aloud if you temporarily put something down. “I’ve placed my phone on the dressing table.”
It engages more brain areas (especially the language centers), which helps you to remember where you placed it.
It’s also a good idea to say it aloud when you turn off the stove burners, blow out candles, or unplug your hair straightener. This helps me avoid those moments when I leave the home or am in bed, and suddenly I think, “Did I forget to turn that off?”
3. Purchase any kitchen supplies you may need, such as plates, glasses and pans, from a supply store.
They’re usually cheaper than the big box stores, and their products are built to last in a commercial setting. So they can certainly handle your Sunday brunch. My favorite online store is Web Restaurant Store. “
4.When you are at home and have some spare time, take a minute to pet your cat or dog.
“A phrase that I heard somewhere really stuck in my mind: Your pet is your entire life, but your pets are only part of yours. “
