Health Benefits of MCT Oil

Manage Blood Sugar

There is evidence that shows medium-chain triglyceride oil can also be used to manage blood sugar in diabetes patients. Studies have shown that diabetics who consume MCTs need to inject insulin with 30 percent less sugar. Nevertheless, there are some studies that claim MCT oil may have little or no effect on blood sugar levels at fasting times, even when included in a diet. The timing of meals, among other things, may affect the effectiveness of MCT oil. Some studies suggest that people who regularly consume MCT oil can see a decrease in their insulin resistance. This can help manage blood sugar levels and diabetes.
