He dug a hole in his yard and all the neighbours were jealous

Pea Gravel as Lining for the Bottom

The bottom of this hole was filled with pea gravel. This was important to have a base that was soft and would drain easily into the soil beneath the container.

Wayne’s plan for the container is now clear, but what did he have in mind? There’s a reason why Wayne made sure there was extra space above his container when it was placed in the hole.

You Still Need Professionals Sometimes

Wayne did the majority of this work, but certain aspects were better left to a professional. The majority of people do not have access to large cranes that can lift a container and lower it in the ground. A septic service with heavy equipment was hired to help.

Wayne’s choice to hire some help with this is much better than trying it yourself or with family and friends. Once the container is in place, it’s not over. It’s a lot more difficult than you expected.
