Remove the temporary support beams
Safety is always paramount in projects such as this. It is foolish to ignore safety precautions when building a bunker. It’s not worth cutting corners when you are already spending so much.

After the concrete dried, it was finally time to remove the beams which had temporarily held the roof in place. The cinderblocks weren’t just for show. They all worked together to create a solid foundation for the bunker.
Filling in the soil
Wayne then filled in all the gaps with high-end soil so that the bunker would not be in the middle of a dirt pile in the yard. When the bunker is complete, Wayne can add some plants to it to make it blend in with the yard and regain some space.

These efforts make it appear as if the giant hole never existed! There doesn’t seem to be a huge bunker there.
