It is available as a delayed-release tablet or extended-release capsule. This medication can cause heartburn, nausea, headaches and drowsiness. Also, constipation and diarrhea are possible. Some individuals experience dizziness. Patients may experience fatigue, swelling of the feet and rapid weight increase. Patients may wish to monitor their blood tension regularly throughout treatment, as this medication can cause an increase in blood pressure. Report any elevated blood pressure to your doctor. Diclofenac is not recommended for pregnant women. It may also be unsafe for individuals who have asthma, stomach ulcers or bleeding, high pressure and heart disease.
