Guide to Daily Eye Health & Safety

Eat Food To Protect Sight

It is essential to maintain a balanced, healthy diet to encourage us to eat foods that protect our sight. Vitamin A and beta-carotene rich foods are the best to eat to nourish our eyes with vitamins and minerals. To protect and maintain our eyesight, we recommend carrots, nuts and leafy greens. Salmon, lean protein, sweet potatoes and beans. Drink plenty of water in order to stay hydrated. This is especially important if your eyes are dry or have bloodshot appearances. You will see better vision during the day and at night, as well as with age.
