Rosalynd was so touched by the heartfelt words as well as the generous tip that she felt emotional. Rosalynd talked about how people automatically assume that someone who supports Trump has certain views. However, she was surprised to find that Jason was “more embracing than some of my liberal friends and that our exchange was authentic.” The man left having grown personally.
Little goes a long way
Rosalynd was not only moved by the words, but the generous tip also came at the perfect time. She was working extra hours because she needed to move apartments and wasn’t sure if she would have the money to cover any costs up front. She said that the $450 tip was “a huge burden off my shoulders”. It might not seem much to someone who earns a lot of money.
