Shared Laughter
They were soon making jokes. Jason said she laughed when she heard that they were West Texas natives, and that she could tell that they were Southerners. He asked Rosalynd to tell him what she liked best on the menu. When Rosalynd said that the avocado panini sounded delicious, he bought it because he also loves avocado.
Curiosity
Jason asked Rosalynd to tell him about the history of the book store/restaurant. She was happy to answer all their questions as she knew they’d never been anywhere like it. Rosalynd, on the other hand, believed that open and friendly conversations were the best approach. She wasn’t about to become hostile.
