Rohan Agarwal, a farmer from the outskirts of Nagpur, was sitting motionless in his hospital bed. He lay motionless on the hospital bed, waiting for the doctor’s words to illuminate the fluorescent-lit X-ray images.

Rohan’s life began to replay in his head as he lay on a cold hospital bed surrounded by doctors who were wearing serious expressions. He never imagined that this day would arrive. He was an ordinary man from Nagpur in India. His childhood was no different from anyone else’s. He was born into a farming household. He remembered being a child with dreamy eyes, sure that his name would one day be heard by everyone. He never thought that a hospital trip would lead him to this path.
He was full of pure joy, and had a burning desire for him to be different…to stand out. Life, however, seemed to have other plans. It was his slightly bulging stomach that made him stand out. This odd but harmless feature didn’t really affect his life. It didn’t interfere with his playing nor did it cause him physical pain.
It was dismissed by his family as a minor protrusion, which they thought was a feature unique to him, a gentle curve that gave his slim build character. This minor protrusion… it was a peculiar quirk, an identifiable trait that made Rohan…well…Rohan.
