During the busiest weekend of the year, Rosalynd Harris was working at Busboys and Poets in Washington, where a group Texan men walked into the restaurant with their red hats. They stood out in the establishment with its laid-back and artistic vibe, which is known as a place to meet civil rights activists and artists. Rosalynd was worried that they were looking for trouble. It was a very emotional weekend across the country.
Nervous
The 25-year old waitress felt nervous at first and hoped that they wouldn’t cause any problems for her or the other customers.
