17 Things You Didn’t Know About Left Handed People

PRESIDENTIAL PRIORITIES

You may want to run for president if you are a lefty. Many recent U.S. Presidents, such as Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush and Gerald Ford. Ronald Reagan was said to be ambidextrous. James Garfield and Herbert Hoover were left-handed in the past. Scientists believe that lefties have a broader perspective of thought, making them great candidates for the presidency.

LIFESPANS for LEFTIES

A 1991 study suggested that lefties died earlier. According to the study, this was partly due to accidents on the road. This led people to believe that lefties are bad drivers. Recent studies have debunked these theories and now it is generally accepted that handing doesn’t directly impact one’s life expectancy (or driving ability).

LEFTIES “DO IT” BETTER

Southpaws are always able to point out a survey which suggests that lefties enjoy better sex than their right-handed counterparts. Only 15 percent of the 10,000 people who were surveyed said that they were “extremely happy” with their sexual lives. In contrast, 86 percent lefties reported feeling “extremely happy.”
